A painting done the day after seeing the live images of 9.11 2001 twin towers attack.
An old olive, normally a symbol of either peace or suffering throws up its branches which become pleading hands, a metaphor for all suffering in the world. It is simply the artist's response to powerful and disturbing visual images of real events.
